Cats and Pigeons.

Writing, creative or otherwise may be a bit thin on the ground for the next two weeks; she's a going in the drink. Ready or not the big day is booked for Monday 16th February 2009 at about 8am, and there's so much to do. I pray to the deity of my choice that we have enough time to get it all done. Now where'd I leave that coffeepot...

Is the crocheted item on board for extra good luck?

Really really really lots of good fortune to all who have held their breath over the last few years.

CONGRATS..this is the moment when your dream for now and the future is either hanging in the balance or taking to the water as in like a duck. we're with you all the way and strangely since being down there last week I feel part of all that is going on more so than before. There is no doubt about success - this is the beginning of a new era, a life on the proverbial.
LoadsaLoven' BigHugs Allaround -your part of the family in Lincoln. we await confirmation and the next installment on the blog...

Well done Wendy Ann 2 and Well done to all of the people who have supported this phenomenal project borne by the dream of two creative spirits. Not only have Seb and Becky worked solidly against the elements, but also others have supported them from far and near, with physical, emotional, mental, financial, verbal and literary support. Some have given huge amounts of knowledge, skills and advice, some have donned their work clothes to give practical, manual labour and have experienced the sweat, toil, fun and drama to help the dream come true. At last she sits in the waters of the ocean, a new vessel. Bless her and all those aforementioned. Now there's just the kitting out to do!!!

OOOoooohhh Just spoken to my son again... he's very poopie doop pooped to say the least ... having wetted the iron maiden he then had to work for his crust on Strorbror for three days and has been on an emotional ocean wave since the baptismal date!!! I think he needs and deserves a rest and I am trying to persuade him and B to arrive in central France but there's the WA to tow to its new home - to wave goodbye to its home of the last 4 years - and there's horses and jobs to look after. I AM SO PROUD OF MY SON and of BECKY and I know he is too.. What an achievement/ It makes my life look very unassuming.

Just saw the launch on Tim's blog - SO AWESOME! The last time we saw pictures of Wendy Ann outside her tent was back when you bought her, so this is the first time we've really seen what she looks like. Beautiful boat, amazing wheelhouse, nice smooth launch and absolutely frickin' awesome to see her back in the water where she belongs!
