The other Other Lady’s Hull.

is pretty much complete now. I’m particularly proud of the bow and transom plating, which all went exactly to plan. It’s still a stressful exciting hardworking fun fast paced large scale build and therefore I’m currently going through another phase of collapsing face first onto the sofa every evening after work. This kind of behaviour lends weight to the rather scary phenomenon known as ‘where the bloody hell has the week gone, AGAIN??’, in which one minute it’s Monday morning staring down the barrel of another huge list of things to do, and the next thing you know it’s Friday afternoon and bits of my brain are falling off. This week we’ve started to plate the main deck, a task that seemed like it was going to be huge, but to my surprise is in fact (so far) behaving rather well.
My thanks to the whole team, who are also behaving rather well, and I know for a fact that they too are giving it everything they've got.
Meanwhile, on board Wendy Ann 2, progress is almost just as exciting. But I’ll have to save that for another time.

Ok, so how is the back doing ? On May 8th you said

"Ooh Bugger, there goes me back. "

And now not a peep about how you are doing.

Hey Bill, the back is fine thankyou, every now and then it fires a warning shot and that's when I wear a back brace, and get a bit nervous. But it's so far behaving itself.

cheers and thanks for your concern,
